My least favorite question has always been, “What is your favorite subject.” Usually I just begin rattling off my entire schedule. Sometimes I will try and pick a random one, confidently stating “Math,” but always end up quietly throwing in “Spanish, English, and History too.” I’ve always had many academic interests, and that was one of the reasons I chose UT. Here I have been able to pursue a major in business
while still receiving a liberal arts education. Everyday my brain is challenged in diverse ways. Through both academics and extracurriculars, I have unique learning experiences every day here on the forty acres.

Majors: Business Honors Program; Finance; Plan II Honors

Honors Programs: Business Honors Program; Plan II Honors

Other Academic Interests: Global health policy and foreign languages

Extracurricular Activities: Pi Beta Phi sorority, Silver Spurs Sweetheart, Business Honors Program Hometown Recruiter, HBA, and Reformed University Fellowship.

What drew you to the Forty Acres Scholars Program (FASP)?
What drew me to the Forty Acres Scholars Program was the opportunity to surround myself with the other amazing scholars. Each day I have been able to learn from and interact with motivated, high-caliber people. The Forty Acres Scholars Program has introduced me to incredible life long friends that will no doubt change the world one day.
